The Bible. So What?
The Bible. So What? aims to provoke and address the kinds of questions a spectator might have about the Bible, which, although frequently overlooked, has shaped the moral, legal and cultural foundation of the Western world for the past 1,600 years. I aim to challenge the postmodern relativist impulse to find new meanings as I try to reorient the spectator towards the ‘grand narrative’ of the Bible. By reading it themselves, viewers may discover a deeper sense of meaning, purpose, personal significance, direction and ultimate truth in the Christian gospel, a personally meaningful metanarrative grounded in history, tradition and revelation. Although I present a single perspective due to the time constraints of my brief, the counterargument to my film is already present, as misrepresentations
