a guilt so profound

Drama

A young woman sits in a church, alone and guilty, or so she thought. Beginning with the unraveling and recounting from when this guilt began, she descends into a spiritual psychosis. Russians, Victor Hugo, God, her mother, and a past mania flit in and out of her consciousness. A film which treads in the murky waters of our inner worlds-- being unable to discriminate between the real and the imagined, the sane and the psychotic.
