Where Do Black Men Live?
Where Do Black Men Live? explores the experiences of low-income and housing-insecure Black men in Cambridge, Massachusetts, amplifying voices too often excluded from conversations about housing, urban policy, and racial justice. Produced by The Black Response and based on 25 ethnographic interviews conducted by Haitian sociologist Stephanie Guirand for her doctoral research, the film uses a verbatim theatre approach, with its dialogue drawn directly from the words of the men interviewed.
