The internet is, even on a good day, a lot. It is loud, it is relentless, and it has an almost supernatural ability to surface the worst of everything at the exact moment you least need to see it. And then, occasionally, without warning and without any apparent reason, it produces something so unexpectedly gentle and oddly wholesome that you find yourself just sitting with it for a moment longer than you planned.
