Large Scandals Went Unnoticed
Cancel culture has a reputation for being ruthless, and sometimes it is. The machine can be swift, brutal, and occasionally completely disproportionate to the offence. And then there are the ones that just... got away. The scandals that should have dominated the news cycle for weeks, the behaviour that would have ended a lesser-known person's career entirely. Reddit asked people which scandals deserved far more attention than they received, and the answers are infuriating. Some of these you will remember vaguely. Some you will have forgotten entirely. And some you will be reading about for the first time, wondering how on earth that was not a bigger deal.#1Rick Scott oversaw the largest Medicare fraud settlement in United States history.
